Meet the Founder

Ann Garcia is a dedicated healthcare professional and immigrant who came to the United States at the age of 20 with her family, bringing with her a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to caring for others. She began her career in the medical field at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience working at the bedside in a high-intensity ICU environment for 13 years. This critical care background shaped her clinical expertise, resilience, and compassionate approach to patient care.

Driven by a passion for senior care, Ann transitioned from hospital-based nursing to the assisted living industry, where she felt she could make a more personal and lasting impact. She now leads operations at Com For Care Assisted Living in Bellaire, continuing the legacy and mission of its original founder, Peggy McCall, a registered nurse who established the home with a vision of providing high-quality, compassionate care in a residential setting.

Under her leadership, the home has maintained an exceptional level of staff retention, with caregivers who have remained for decades—reflecting her commitment to fostering a supportive and respectful workplace.Her hands-on approach ensures that every resident receives personalized attention, while her deep understanding of senior care allows her to anticipate needs and provide thoughtful solutions.

Ann is committed to preserving that vision by fostering a warm, family-oriented environment, maintaining high standards of care, and ensuring that every resident is treated with dignity and respect. Her leadership reflects both her clinical background and her heartfelt dedication to serving seniors and their families.
